As you may know, after the inaugural GB Cup last year British Fencing has announced the new all weapon national championship for intermediate fencers will be repeated in 2019. It is run on similar lines to the British Youth Championships. Through qualifying competitions each Region will select 2 fencers from each weapon to represent them at the national final in Nottingham on 22nd June.
The London Region Intermediate Championship’ will act as our selection event.

never have represented their Nation at any level (including GB, home nations or other national equivalents);
never have won a Senior Open event
have London Region specified on their British Fencing Membership.

Awards & Qualification
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded for each weapon in the London Region Intermediate Championships. Additionally, the top 2 ranked fencers in each weapon will automatically qualify to enter the finals of the GB Cup. British Fencing’s fee for entry to the final is £30 and qualifiers are asked to pay this amount to London Region by cash or cheque before leaving the venue on 28th April.
