London Region AGM

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of London Region Fencing (In Respect of the Year Ending 30 June 2025) will be held on
Sunday 24th May 2026 at 11.30 am

The Meeting will be held for the following purposes:

  1. to consider the Minutes of the previous AGM held on 3rd May 2025
  2. to receive the Report from the Chairperson,
  3. to receive the Accounts of the Region for the financial period ended 30th June 2025,
  4. to elect or re-elect Officers and Members of the Committee to replace those who retire and
  5. to consider any other appropriate business.

Anyone involved in Fencing in the London Region may attend the AGM.  However, the only persons entitled to vote and, unless invited by the Chairman, to speak at the Meeting are those individual members of British Fencing with membership formally affiliated to London Region Fencing, who are at least 18 years old at the time of the Meeting, and who have been a registered member of British Fencing for at least three months prior to the date of the Meeting.

If you wish to attend, please let us know by sending your name and BF Membership Number to secretary@londonregionfencing.org.uk .  This is an in person meeting only,: access to the venue is only available with prior communication no later than Thursday 21st May 2026. 

If you wish to take part by proxy, you must use the Form of Proxy which is available on the London Region Website.  It must be completed as instructed thereon and received by Hazel Herbert, on behalf of London Region Fencing, not less than 48 hours before the meeting, being not later than 11:30 am Friday 22th May

If you wish to put yourself forward for election to the duties of any committee post that might fall vacant, you must provide written notice of such to email address secretary@londonregionfencing.org.uk by no later than Saturday 16th May 2026.  The previous AGM minutes will be provided online for review by the same date.

The London Region Fencing AGM and elections are subject to the provisions of the London Region Fencing Constitution, a copy of which is available on our web site.

The Lansdown Club has a dress code and also request that no one brings food and drink into the Club
